Hello everyone! I’m Jigna and I’m very excited to share with you the creative flavours of traditional Indian food. A lot of the dishes that I cook are inspired by Asian street food as well as my personal experience in the food industry as a catering chef and a business owner. I want to not only highlight Indian cuisine but also offer exceptional customer service to people, making sure that they not only see me as a great home cook but also as someone who takes business seriously. My biggest inspiration when it comes to cooking would be my grandmother who was the soul of my family. I was born in Mozambique but have spent over the last 30 years here in Portugal with my beautiful family. I love Portugal for everything that it has to offer - the weather, food, and people. I also appreciate the diversity of culture, especially, the ever-growing Indian community that has come a long way since I first moved here many years ago. I’m very happy to join Mae’s Food, to continue my journey as a home cook from the comfort of my kitchen.
